Shoppers can utilize the companys Top 100 list to scour the best deals available over the two-day sale

The trend for holiday shopping this season has been: early. With Target and Walmart announcing their plans to make holiday shopping more affordable for customers and have deals start earlier than ever Amazon is now joining in with its own holiday efforts.
The company announcedthat it will host a Prime Early Access Sale, offering customers some of the biggest deals of the holiday season, for 48 hours from October 11-12. Amazon also has plans to release its Top 100 list over the course of the two days to ensure that shoppers are seeing the best available deals during the sale.
The two-day shopping event marks the first time the retailer has held a second Prime event in one calendar year.

What shoppers can expect
For starters, Amazon Prime members can expect sales on some of the biggest brands Peloton, Adidas, Philips Sonicare, KitchenAid, and Samsung, amongothers. Over the course of the two-day sale, Amazon will continue to announce new deals on big-ticket holiday items.
To prepare for the sale, Prime members can set up personalized notifications for deals on specific items. Between now and the start of the sale, shoppers can set up these alerts on the Amazon app or website based on items theyve recently searched for or looked at. Then, members will receive notifications for special deals once the Prime Early Access Sale starts.
Prime members with an Alexa device can start making shopping lists for the Prime Early Access Sale. Alexa will let you know when deals are available for these items and can make purchases for you.
Shoppers can also start looking at the holiday gift guides to prepare for the sale. The Holiday Toy List is broken down by age, characters, and categories to help narrow down searches and see some of the most popular gift items.
Theres also a home gift guide, which features everything from indoor and outdoor decor to furniture and cookware.
Other benefits from Prime this month include deals on Prime Video, Amazon Music, and GrubHub. While Prime Video comes with a Prime membership, Amazon is now offering half-off select movies and TV shows.
Prime members can select one of two deals from Amazon Music either four months free of Amazon Music Unlimited or one-month free of Amazon Music Unlimited with the purchase of an Amazon Echo Dot for $0.99.
Prime members are also eligible to get one year of GrubHub+ which comes with free delivery on orders over $12 and other rewards for free.
